Since I have not blogged since the events of August 23rd, I thought it was time to begin posting here again. We've all been through a lot over the last month, but we are starting to settle in to our "new normal".
What does our "new normal" look like? In some ways, things are clearly different. We are having classes in a new building and our school day is longer. Some of the things we are used to having around are not there. But, in other ways, things have not changed. I still see our faculty and staff doing what they need to do to ensure that our students get the education they deserve. I still see our students giving their best in the classroom and on the athletic fields. And I still see our parents and community members giving of their time, energy, and resources to make sure that our students have what they need to be successful. For the work that everyone has put in to help make this transition as successful as it has been, I just want to say thank you.
